Ashley Liles

Hi! My name is Ashley Liles and I am the proud director of the Charms at Kingwood Middle School! The 2025/2026 school year will be my 7th year at KMS and my 11th year of teaching. I love the opportunity I have to build the dance program at KMS and share my passion for dance with all of our KMS Cougars! 

I grew up in Magnolia, TX and was a four year member of the dance team at Magnolia West High School. After graduating I  attended Texas State University. (Eat em up cats!) While at Texas State I was a 4 year member of the Texas State Strutters dance team, and a member of the Strutters pom squad for 2 years! During my time as a Strutter I performed on the Mariner of the Seas cruise ship, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, Disneyland Paris, San Antonio Spurs games, and more! I love all the memories being involved on a dance team has given me! 

After graduating Texas State I started my teaching career teaching elementary. I taught elementary for 4 years before I decided to follow my passion for dance! I am married to my college sweetheart Carter and together we have a precious furbaby named Macy and our son Lane (born Feb 2023).  I love Disney, Marvel, the Astros, spending days at the lake and traveling!
